An environment for your well-being

The Healing Space is an interactive room designed with the patient in mind. It is located on the ground floor of the Adult Outpatient Pavilion on the VCU Health medical campus in Richmond. Equipped with immersive technology that boasts spatial sound and a built-in 4K, LED video wall, The Healing Space is a place where its visitors can travel to calming, scenic environments without leaving the warmth of the room.

Patients and their loved ones, faculty and staff can visit The Healing Space before and after treatments or in between patient care and enter a room created to provide a sense of comfort and serenity. The Healing Space can also be utilized for research, small-group classes and integrative health modalities such as yoga, mindfulness and spiritual care.

Massey volunteers and donors laid the groundwork for The Healing Space, involved in planning, design and operational support. The Healing Space is dedicated to volunteers who selflessly give their time and talents to comforting patients year-round. For more information, email healingspace@vcu.edu.
