Leading Virginia in community-responsive research
Catchment Area Data Access & Alignment (CADA) provides cancer-relevant and catchment-focused data to support Massey members’ cancer research, and promote collaboration, innovation and excellence in catchment-focused cancer research, and engagement with internal MCC members and external MCC stakeholders. CADA leverages external, publicly available datasets such as sociodemographic, and cancer data from local, state and national sources to promote a better understanding of the MCC’s catchment area. CADA also partners with other cores such as clinical informatics and biostatistics to provide data augmentation, and extend quantitative data services with a high degree of excellence — making it an easy, collaborative and enjoyable experience for clients to elevate research quality.
From concept to execution to dissemination, CADA supports members across all stages and can serve as a bridge between biostatistics, epidemiology and clinical bioinformatics.
