As one of 58 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the U.S., VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center ranks among the country's top cancer centers, and celebrates a rich 50 year history of research and dedication to our patients. We have earned and retained this designation, in part, through our commitment to recruiting and retaining the highest quality workforce. 

Massey is committed to reducing the cancer burden in its catchment area, which consists of 66 localities across eastern, central and southern Virginia. In doing so, we employ top scientists, clinicians and support staff who team up to provide world-renowned leadership in basic, clinical and population science research, multidisciplinary cancer treatment and education of the next generation of cancer researchers and clinician-scientists.

Serve as an investigator with expertise in cancer cell signaling, lipid and other cancer-related metabolism, integrative genomics, tumor immunology or chemical biology.

Explore open basic science faculty positions

Serve as an investigator with expertise in the field of translational oncology, immuno-oncology, and/or drug discovery including medicinal chemistry and structural biology.
