Training navigation at Massey
Connect with Massey experts for assistance navigating through the research grant life cycle. Available for early-career researchers, training navigators connect individuals with career development resources and training materials to aid in grant development.
Researchers from underrepresented backgrounds are also eligible for training navigation services specific to funding opportunities and resources under NCI's Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) program. Training navigation can assist with:
- Finding general research resources and training materials
- Determining eligibility based on career level for various funding opportunities, including NCI’s CURE program
- Connecting investigators with NCI and Center for Cancer Health Equity resources including funding announcements and training materials
- Providing assistance with grant proposals and funding submissions through Massey’s Office of Research Development
NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE)
As part of a grant supplement through the NCI’s Center for Cancer Health Equity (CCHE) CURE program, Massey received funding for training navigators to support students, trainees and investigators from backgrounds historically underrepresented in medicine in pursuing successful careers in cancer research.
Massey partners with regional and international minority serving institutions to further diversify the cancer research workforce. Aligned with its community-centered approach, these partnerships allow Massey to promote unique research collaborations among investigators. Current partners include:
